Blog Review: Finding Money Online
The lovely Sheryl's Finding Money Online should be one of of the Get Paid To (GPT) power sites. In fact it was Sheryl who took the trouble to explain to me what GPT actually meant. For all you novices out there, GPT involves getting paid to do something on-line. What the something is varies from site to site, but it usually involves joining something, or watching something or filling something in. Companies exist that provide you with these opportunities and you are then paid by them for doing whatever is required.

The lovely Sheryl is a member of over eighty of these outfits, and that tally only includes the ones that she makes money from. There are others that she ignores, either because they are poor payers or don't pay at all, so all in all she has probably joined or flirted with at least 200 in her time.

This may be the reason why her blog updates so infrequently, but if it is she really should force herself to find the time to update it. The blog's theme is right there under her nose and if she took the obvious course that I will outline I am convinced that it would be a winner.

What Sheryl needs to do is to review each of her GPT sites in turn on her blog. If she did three postings on that theme a week that would be enough to keep the blog alive and bring people in to read it. If she only posted on the 80 or so sites that she makes money from, there's six months of postings before she even has to think about something else.

However, there is a lot more that she could be writing about. She could tell us about the GPT sites that she doesn't like and why that is the case. She could talk about her ideal GPT site and then invite other people to come along and contribute their ideas. The list is not exactly endless, but if Sheryl set herself the target of just three postings a week, she would never run out of things to write about, and she would have a popular blog.

I think that she also needs to change her template. Far too many money blogs use the one that she uses and it means that Finding Money Online doesn't really stand out from the crowd like it should.

Finally, the lovely Sheryl might like to put her GPT banners on the sidebar where they can be seen without having to scroll down to the bottom of the page. Given that each banner contains Sheryl's referral, she is losing money because most people will not realise that her referrals are actually on her blog: you just have to hunt for them!

So what's the plan? Sheryl, you should update three times a week and make most updates a review of the GPT sites that you know everything about. Change the template and then alter things around so that your referrals are easy to find.
